MOI Urges Pre-booking For Biometric Appointments Via ‘Meta’

The Ministry of the Interior has emphasized the importance of scheduling appointments in advance using the "Meta" platform accessible through the unified government app for electronic services, "Sahel," prior to visiting designated biometric fingerprinting centers. It has been clarified that walk-in appointments will not be accepted.

In a press release issued by the General Department of Security Relations and Media, it was highlighted that the plan devised by the General Department of Forensic Evidence for fingerprinting appointments is comprehensive and will be executed within the specified timeframe.

Responding to concerns circulating on social media regarding overcrowding at a fingerprint center, the ministry addressed the issue promptly, attributing the crowding to the presence of numerous individuals without prior appointments.
