Moe Has Announced The Schedule For Appointing New Teachers For Academic Year 2017-2018
Ministry of Education Undersecretary Dr Haitham Al-Athari has announced the schedule for appointing new teachers for academic year 2017/2018. Al-Athari disclosed the appointment of new Kuwaiti teachers will be on Aug 13, 2017; locally hired expatriate teachers on Aug 20, 2017 and expatriate teachers hired abroad on Aug 15, 2017.
He also set Aug 5, 2017 as the beginning of work for new teachers for academic year 2017/2018. He said these teachers will participate in a seven-day training course two days for the administrative aspect and five days for technical. Meanwhile, Jahra Educational Zone Tuesday organized an exhibition for the projects of the User Support Department in Fatima Bint Al-Hussein Elementary School for Girls in the presence of Assistant Undersecretary for Constructions and Planning Sector at Ministry of Education Dr Khalid Al-Rasheed, Director of Information Technology Department Huda Al- Mutairi, Intermediate Section Supervisor Mohammed Al-Enezi, Director of User Support Department Abdulaziz Al-Husseini and School Director Amal Al-Shammari. Dr Al-Rasheed affirmed the importance of electronic projects and modern technology in supporting the educational system in the country.
He said the ministry implemented and developed projects that focused on providing electronic services, the latest being the online Grades Inquiry Service to facilitate follow up of grades by guardians and parents of students. Dr Al-Rasheed explained that the User Support Department in Jahra has achieved a lot in the past few years.
This reflects the keenness of those working there, from students, teachers to school administrations, to provide electronic services to all users. The continuous support of the Public Education Sector and directors to these projects contributed to their success. He said the ministry is working towards implementing its electronic projects that serve the educational process such as the “Tablet” and “Smartboard” projects, surveillance cameras besides other projects. He revealed that the electronic applications and projects showcased confirm the support of the ministry for developing educational projects in line with its plans to introduce technology and digitalize the educational system in the country.
