Ministry Of Interior's Security Measures For Ramadan

The Ministry of Interior has initiated its security plan to ensure the safety of mosques, places of worship, and markets during the holy month of Ramadan. This strategic measure aims to protect citizens and residents while they engage in religious activities and festivities.

According to a report by the local Arabic daily Al-Ray, Assistant Undersecretary for the Public Security Sector, Major General Abdullah Al-Rajaib, stated that approximately 100 patrols and 200 military personnel will be deployed across 66 mosques where large crowds are expected to gather during Ramadan. The intensity of security patrolling will be particularly heightened during the last 10 days of the month.

Officials have emphasized the paramount importance of maintaining the security of the nation and the well-being of its inhabitants, especially during periods of heightened congregation in mosques and commercial areas. Stringent instructions have been issued to ensure that security measures are not compromised.

Moreover, the Ministry has underscored its commitment to enforce the law without discrimination. Major General Abdullah Al-Rajaib emphasized that any expatriates found violating the law, particularly street vendors and beggars, will face decisive legal actions and may be subject to deportation from the country.

This proactive approach by the Ministry of Interior aims to create a secure and peaceful environment for all individuals partaking in Ramadan observances, while simultaneously preserving the integrity of public spaces.
