Ministry Of Interior Urges Caution During Gergean Celebrations To Ensure Safety
The Ministry of Interior is urging citizens and residents to refrain from hosting special events for "Gergean" celebrations within residential areas and squares. This advisory extends to avoiding the use of vehicles, recreational vehicles, popular bands, and food trucks in these areas to prevent road closures, traffic congestion, and potential risks to children.
The General Administration of Security Relations and Media emphasized the importance of this call, particularly with the approaching "Gergean" event in Ramadan, as part of the ministry's commitment to regulating traffic flow and ensuring public safety.
Parents are encouraged to personally supervise their children and adhere to security and traffic regulations rather than relying solely on domestic workers. The ministry stresses its continuous communication with the public to achieve safety goals and warns of legal actions against violators.
Emphasizing the need for drivers to be vigilant and reduce speed, especially on internal roads, the ministry highlights the significance of road safety for all users. A comprehensive security and traffic plan for Ramadan has been devised, involving the deployment of fixed and mobile security patrols across all governorates to uphold safety and security standards.
