Kuwait's Unreleased Mobile Device Prices At Kd 900

According to Al-Seyassah daily, the Commercial Control Department of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry monitored attempts by some companies to raise prices in violation of laws and decisions.

In the recent past, the ministry discovered that a company with multiple branches that sells electronic devices was selling a type of mobile phone for KD 900 and taking advantage of people's desire to acquire the device.

In the local market, this type of mobile phone has not been officially released, and its actual price is KD 460. It has been warned that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry will refer any company or store that sells electronic or electrical devices to justice if they exploit people's desire to acquire modern communications devices, and raise their prices illegally, exploiting the fact that these devices haven't been officially released on the local market, in compliance with article 2 of law No. 10/1979.
