Kuwait's National Day Is Celebrated With Joy And Pride After Two Years

Kuwaitis celebrated National Day on Friday following the closure of the country resulting from a Covid pandemic more than two years ago.

In celebration of Kuwait's national day, crowds of people, mostly children dressed in Kuwait flag dresses, gathered along Gulf Road near Kuwait Tower on Friday afternoon.

Water guns were being used by kids along the road. Military equipment and machines on display near Kuwait Tower drew families to take self-portraits.

This is the first time such celebrations have taken place in the country after the Covid pandemic prevented them for two years.

To avoid any unwanted situation during the celebration, a security team was deployed across Gulf Street.

Near Kuwait Tower by 4:00 pm, the Kuwait Air Force conducted a spectacular air show, which was witnessed by a large crowd.
