Kuwait's Foreign Affairs Ministry Refutes Social Media Allegations

In a social media post on Friday, a Kuwaiti lady claimed to be part of the Kuwaiti diplomatic corps and to support the Trans community.

According to a press release from Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the lady in question is neither a member of the diplomatic corps nor connected to the department.

Diplomatic passports are no longer valid; the lady's father held one while he worked in a government office associated with an embassy.

The statement confirmed that the man's contract had been terminated and that both his and his family's diplomatic passports had been invalidated.
