Kuwaiti To Be Deported By Egypt In Public Interest

Al-Rai daily reported that the Egyptian Official Gazette (Al-Waqa'i) published a decision by Egyptian Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfiq citing "reasons related to the public interest" and ordering Kuwaiti deportation from Egypt.

Law No. 1896 of 2023 was used to make the decision. As well as the memorandum of the General Administration of Passports, Immigration and Nationality regarding the request to deport the Kuwaiti citizen, the General Administration of Passports, Immigration and Nationality also amended Law 89 of 1960 regarding foreign entry, residence, and exit in Egypt.
