Kuwaiti Ministry Condemns Artistic Offenses, Pledges To Protect Society
The Ministry of Information has reaffirmed its staunch opposition to any artistic creations that insult the State of Kuwait or compromise the moral fabric of Kuwaiti society. It underlined its commitment to taking necessary actions to address any artwork deemed detrimental to the societal values of Kuwait.
In an official statement, the ministry declared the initiation of various measures against Ramadan series that offend Kuwaiti societal norms, aiming to prevent the recurrence of such offensive content. It urged all relevant parties to adhere to laws, regulations, and agreements, emphasizing the importance of ceasing the display of objectionable scenes in the future.
Emphasizing the significance of art with sophisticated moral undertones, the ministry emphasized the need for artistic works to respect the cultural sensitivities of all societies and refrain from transgressing fundamental principles.
Furthermore, the ministry commended the efforts of public benefit associations in denouncing offensive content, highlighting the societal consciousness prevalent in Kuwait and its steadfast refusal to tolerate any material that compromises its ethical standards and core values.
