Kuwaiti Engineer Escaped To Iran After Embezzling Kd12 Million

A Kuwaiti engineer has escaped to Iran after embezzling a sum of KD12 million from people.

The runaway fraudster has been working at the Ministry of Electricity and Water for the past 16 years.

She reportedly tendered her resignation last Sunday and left the country after selling her properties and her car.

The engineer, known only by her initials 'B.Sh', tricked people and conned them out of large sums of money, after promising them a 50% return on their 'investments'.

She even told them that returns on their money would reach 100% within six months only, which enabled her to win their trust and con them out of their savings.

A source from the Ministry of Electricity and Water said that his 'ex-colleague' preyed particularly on businessmen and investors.

She reportedly failed to keep her promises, which pushed her to take the money that she embezzled over the years and flee to Iran.

The victims have started filing suits against the fugitive woman, hoping for her extradition to Kuwait.
