Kuwaiti Confesses To Killing A Pregnant Filipina Runaway
Susan V Ople, a Philippines Migrant Workers Secretary, consoled her mother as she vowed justice for the slain OFW Jullebee Ranaza. She assured the slain OFW’s family back home in Metro Manila and promised that they would be provided with the support they may need, reports Philstar. Filipino migrant workers have called on Kuwaiti authorities to resolve the case quickly and hold the perpetrator accountable.
Jullebee Ranaza (35 years old) was found burned to death on Al- Salmi Road earlier on Saturday morning. The criminal security section men at the Ministry of Interior were able to arrest the accused, who turned out to be a Kuwaiti (17 years old) citizen.
According to the source, the accused, who was suspected during the secret investigations by the CID men, confessed to the crime. However, the investigations are continuing to ascertain the motives of the crime.
Furthermore, the autopsy and examination revealed that Jullebee Ranaza was pregnant, and samples were matched with those of the accused. It was learned that the forensic evidence was able to remove the fingerprints of the deceased, and it was found that her nationality was Filipino and she had escaped from her sponsor, reports Al Rai. The source stated her sponsor has been informed. In less than 24 hours, the Interior Department's Public Relations and Security Media Department solved a murder mystery whose burnt body was found in the Al-Salmi desert.
