Kuwaiti Acquitted Of Swindling

The Misdemeanor Court acquitted a citizen of swindling an Iraqi to the tune of KD 49,000. Case files indicate the citizen convinced the Iraqi to be his partner in a commercial project provided the latter pays his loan. The Iraqi paid the loan but the citizen did not fulfill his promise. Attorney Zaid Al-Khabbaz, who represented the citizen in court, argued there is no incriminating evidence against his client who denied the accusation from the beginning of investigations. He stressed there is no document proving that his client swindled the Iraqi.
