Kuwait Central Bank Issues Kd 240 Mln Bonds, Tawarruq

The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) said Monday it issued KD 240 million (USD 792 million) worth of bonds and tawarruq. The issue’s maturity period is six months with a return rate of 1.250 percent, the CBK said in a statement to KUNA.

Late December, the CBK issued bonds and tawarruq worth KD 200 million (USD 660 million).
