Kuwait And India Discuss Promoting Security Ties

Discussing means of enhancing security cooperation, and regional and international developments were the focus of a meeting held between Chairman of Kuwait National Security Apparatus Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali Al-Sabah and Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Doval and his accompanying delegation.

It is the third meeting held between the two sides, Sheikh Thamer said in a press statement on Wednesday. He added that the meeting was part of the outcomes of visit paid by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to India four years ago.

During the visit, His Highness the Premier had discussed methods of expanding and boosting bilateral cooperation between the two countries in all domains, including security, Sheikh Thamer noted.
