Kipic Hires 200 Kuwaitis On Contract Jobs

The Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC) has employed 200 citizens as part of the company’s share in employing citizens in companies that have contracts with it.

Al-Anba quoting sources said most of the Kuwaitis employed by KIPIC are in maintenance contracts, general services, and information technology contracts.

The contracts with the company are renewable for a period of two years. The sources stated the company is committed to following up on the workflow and providing jobs to Kuwaitis to meet the company’s needs in contracts.

The Audit Bureau had earlier recorded 649 vacant jobs for national labor out of 689 jobs, of which only 40 were filled, and the company did not commit to filling those vacancies due to the outbreak of the Corona pandemic.
