Juice Shops, Restaurants Get Citations – Curfew Rules Violated
Under the directives of the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs of Ministry of Interior Major General Faraj Al-Zoubi, security authorities launched a campaign on a number of juice shops and restaurants in Hawally Governorate after receiving reports of their violation of the Cabinet’s decision such as selling directly to customers during the partial curfew period, reports Al-Rai daily quoting security sources.
They explained that citations were issued against five juice shops and restaurants for directly selling to customers during the partial curfew, and closing them for violating the conditions of the health authorities. The campaign was held through coordination between the Ministry of Interior and the Emergency Team of Hawally Municipality.
The Ministry of Interior will monitor stores that violate the condition related to selling directly to customers during the partial curfew. No leniency will be shown to those who violate the law. Security inspection tours will continue, and in the event of any violations by the shop owners, the concerned authorities will be notified in order to take legal measures against those shop owners. Also, deportation orders will be issued against expatriates who are caught violating such laws.
