Issuing Police Clearances Via The Moi's E-service
Announcing the launch of the service to issue criminal classification electronically, the General Department of Criminal Evidence of the Ministry of Interior, along with the General Department of Information Technology at the Ministry, announced Wednesday that the Sahel app will be incorporated with a QR code so that citizens can use it in and outside the country.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, in a statement, said this service is being provided based on directives by the Department of Public Relations and Security Media. The Department said Lieutenant-General Anwar Al-Barjas is monitoring this service.
Specifically, the department emphasized the ministry's strong interest in launching this new service to effectively contribute to the success of the country's efforts in digital transformation to save everyone's time and effort and make transactions as simple as possible.
Additionally, the ministry said that the strategy aims to automate all services provided to the public in order to save time and effort for auditors and speed up the completion of transactions in line with current technological advances in the security establishment sectors.
