Issuance Of Permits To Recruit About 4,000 Agricultural Workers

The head of the Farmers’ Union, Abdullah Al-Dammak, praised the efforts of the Minister of Interior Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali, and his approval to issue permits to bring in about 4,000 agricultural workers from abroad through the Belsalamah platform to support Kuwaiti farms and producers, Al-Rai reported.

Damak told the daily that the union asked farmers wishing to bring in agricultural labor to apply to the union. The Minister of Interior explained that 397 farm owners requested to bring in agricultural labor for their farms with the aim of saving them from destruction, and in order to preserve the local product.  And the minister, in turn, sent the request to the Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergencies who agreed to the appeal.
