Is-linked Kuwaiti Is Alive
A Kuwaiti, identified only as HL, who was earlier reported to have been executed by DAESH or the so-called Islamic State militants is alive and in the group’s prison, reports Al-Rai daily.
The sources pointed, according to the latest information given by the DAESH leader, Abu Ayub, HL is held in the office of the Caliphate or leader of the organization Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi. “If the organization had killed him, as some had said, it would have officially declared that, but they refused even to declare the place of his grave, or upload a video, neither showed his belongings nor his will, and this made us think he was not killed,” the sources said.
“HL fell foul with the organization because of leniency when it came to shedding blood, because he saw there should be leniency and execution should be based on evidence”, the source added. The source pointed out HL is an influential figure and one who spoke out boldly so his execution by the organization had to be officially announced and this did not happen.
