Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Saudi Arabia's energy minister, said both Kuwait and Saudi Arabia are interested in discussing the Dora gas field with Iran, and the field's resources are of common interest between the two states.

Reuters reports that Prince Abdulaziz bn Salman said in a statement that there are no refineries with capacity to match the present demand. The prince said shifting energy production to gas and renewable energy would allow 1 million barrels of oil to be exported per day.

Since Aramco has a lot of downstream operations, we don't plan to invest in its upstream operations oversea," he said.
