In Jleeb, 1,020 Traffic Violations Within Two Hours
The Interior Ministry conducted a traffic campaign in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area on Wednesday that led to 1,020 direct violations within 2 hours. Violations include expired licenses, expired registrations, window tinting on cars, and making annoying noises or changing the appearance of vehicles.
In addition to Lieutenant-General Anwar Al-Barjas, who provided instructions for the campaign, Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, the Undersecretary of the Traffic Sector, as well as Brigadier General Khaled Mahmoud and Fawaz Al-Khaled, supervised and assisted the campaign.
There was a cordon around Jleeb and checkpoints at the entrances and exits of Jleeb. In just two hours, 1,020 violations were recorded.
Ten expatriates whose residence permits had expired several years before were also arrested during the campaign. Some expatriates were also arrested because their names appeared on the arrest warrants.
