Foul Play Sensed In Death Of An Asian

Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department are investigating the death of an Asian whose corpse with traces of beatings and blood was found in the Wafra area, reports Al-Rai daily. A security source told the daily the corpse has been referred to forensic medicine to determine the cause of death. Meanwhile, the security authorities are investigating the circumstances of the death of another Asian whose body was found inside a room in the suburb of Saad Al-Abdullah.

The daily said the victim’s friend alerted the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior when his ‘friend’ did not answer the phone. He told police he called several times, but there was no response and that the door was bolted from inside. Upon arrival, police, with permission from the Prosecution, broke the door of the rented room and found the man dead. The remains have been referred to Forensics.
