Female Beggar Cheated Many People By Faking Disability

Police have identified the female beggar who is said to have cheated many people by faking disability, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the woman who speaks in a Gulf dialect, claimed to be an amputee and allegedly knocked on the door of a house in Jaber Al-Ali. When a Kuwaiti opened the door, she claimed one of her legs has been amputated and the other is in bad condition.

The man felt pity for her and gave her KD 190 after she said she would travel to Egypt for a surgery. After some time, the Kuwaiti realized that he had been ‘looted’ by the woman after he heard different stories from different people who described the woman. Surprisingly, she surfaced in Bayan and entered a Diwaniya of a Kuwaiti and the latter who had heard about her story, discovered both her legs were intact.

She had apparently used a 3D technique to make a picture of herself and on the strength of this picture she was apparently ‘earning’ money. The woman then escaped from the scene before the arrival of police. Police investigations show she is from one of the GCC countries
