Ex-minister Acquitted In Funds Embezzlement

The Court of Cassation has upheld the verdict of the lower court and acquitted former Minister of Health, Dr. Ali Al-Obeidi, and six others who were accused of facilitating the embezzlement of 300,000 dinars in the purchase of lice drugs and other medicines and containers in collusion with a contracting company allegedly owned by the former health minister, reports Al-Rai daily.
