Electricity Cutoff Rumors Refuted By Mew

On Saturday, the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy confirmed that some social media reports about schools and government agencies shutting off air conditioners and cutting off electricity in industrial areas, chalets, and farms were inaccurate.

The ministry said in a statement that the routine emergency plan is implemented annually before the summer season and takes into account all possible scenarios for providing alternatives when need be.

To conserve and sustain the country's resources, the ministry continues to run awareness campaigns to conserve electricity and water.
