Education Minister To Halt Hike In Private Schools' Fees

Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Bader Al-Issa issued Sunday a ministerial decree aimed at halting the hike in private schools' fees.

According to the decree, private schools should abide by the decision or else face the consequences. Schools violating the decree will receive a warning letter which will be followed by a suspension if the educational facility continued carry on the violation, said the decree.

It stressed that any additional expenses and charges taken unlawfully by the violating schools should be returned in accordance with the new decision.
