Crackdown On Residency And Labor Law Violations: 300 Individuals Apprehended In Kuwait
A recent series of inspection campaigns conducted by the General Administration of Residency Affairs Investigations has resulted in the arrest of 300 individuals hailing from diverse nationalities. These individuals were found in violation of residency and labor laws, primarily while employed in unlicensed mobile food vehicles. The targeted areas included Farwaniya, Khaitan, Al-Qurain Markets, Salhiya, and the Shuwaikh Industrial Area.
In collaboration with the Public Authority for Manpower and the Kuwait Municipality, the inspection campaigns aimed to curb illegal activities and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks. The joint efforts led to the identification and apprehension of individuals operating outside the bounds of established residency and labor regulations.
The arrested individuals are now subject to legal measures, and they have been referred to the competent authorities for further action. The rigorous enforcement of laws in partnership with key governmental bodies underscores Kuwait's commitment to maintaining order and adherence to regulations within its borders.
