Court Sentenced A Female Students Mother To 2 Week Imprisonment For Damaging Teachers Car

The Misdemeanor Court sentenced a female student’s mother to two-week imprisonment with hard labor for damaging the car of her daughter’s teacher. The teacher explained that her student’s mother, following a heated dispute, had parked her car in the school driveway. When she was backing her car out, the mother intentionally slammed her car into hers. The school’s guard also testified against the mother. The plaintiff counsel Lawyer Abdulmohsen Al-Qattan highlighted the criminal intention on the part of the defendant to inflict harm on the vehicle of his client, stressing the availability of incriminating evidence — deliberate damage — as stated by Article 249 of the Penal Code.
