The Ministry of Commerce's emergency team has taken decisive action by closing down two fish stalls following a recommendation from the seizure reports study committee. According to the report, the closures were due to the stall owners engaging in commercial fraud. They were found selling “Shaam” fish, which is of Pakistani origin, falsely claiming it to be of Kuwaiti origin.
