CAPT Unveils 18 New Road Maintenance Projects

The Central Agency for Public Tenders will present 18 new road maintenance projects today, focusing on comprehensive repairs in various governorates and highways, according to informed sources who spoke to Al-Rai.
The sources revealed that the tender period will last 30 days from the announcement date, during which companies can submit their bids. Once the bidding phase concludes, the offers will be reviewed, and after securing approvals from the tenders committee and the Audit Bureau, the winning companies will commence the road maintenance operations.
The maintenance projects include work on 12 road sectors within the governorates and six highway sectors. The approved projects are as follows:
Jahra Governorate (First Zone): Comprehensive road maintenance for 1,095 days.
Farwaniya Governorate (First Zone): Comprehensive road maintenance for 1,095 days.
Capital Governorate (First Zone): Comprehensive road maintenance for 1,095 days.
Hawalli Governorate (First Zone): Comprehensive road maintenance for 1,095 days.
Al-Ahmadi Governorate (First Zone): Comprehensive road maintenance for 1,095 days.
Al-Ahmadi Governorate (Second Zone): Comprehensive road maintenance for 1,095 days.
Capital Governorate (Second Zone): Comprehensive road maintenance for 1,095 days.
Hawalli Governorate (Second Range): Comprehensive road maintenance for 1,095 days.
Farwaniya Governorate (Second Range): Comprehensive road maintenance for 1,095 days.
Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate (First Range): Comprehensive road maintenance for 1,095 days.
Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate (Second Range): Comprehensive road maintenance for 1,095 days.
Jahra Governorate (Second Zone): Comprehensive road maintenance for 1,095 days.
First Ring Road: General maintenance covering third, fourth, and fifth intersections, and King Fahd Road.
Sixth and Seventh Ring Road: General maintenance.
King Fahd Road and Fahaheel Road: General maintenance.
Subiya Road: General maintenance.
Abdali Road and Jahra Road: General maintenance.
Salmi Road: General maintenance.
These projects aim to significantly improve the infrastructure and safety of roads across the region, ensuring smoother and more reliable transportation for residents and commuters.
