08 August 2021 Business

The Ministry of Public Works (MPW) has requested the Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT), to report on the results of the technical evaluation of the tender for consulting services for the study and design of the head office project of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority (DIPA), consisting of 11 offices, which have got the nod from technical evaluation committee.

Informed sources in the ministry said CAPT has decided to postpone the decision to a future meeting, noting that the committee formed by the MPW to study the technical and financial offers of the consultative agreement for the study and design of the building had addressed the agency after its completion. However, the sources said the MPW project for the benefit of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority, will be carried out in accordance with the requirements and conditions determined by the beneficiaries of such buildings, in terms of capacity, spaces, basements, parking lots, number of halls and other requirements.

On the other hand, CAPT has approved the MPW request to publish the minutes of the preliminary meeting and the amendment annex for a tender for general maintenance of roads and the construction of roads in the southern agricultural areas, on which the ministry relies on to carry out maintenance and repair of damaged roads after floating the tender.
