Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan Apologised For His Intolerance Remark On A News Show
Shah Rukh Khan apologises for intolerance remark Two days before the release of Dilwale, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) apologised for his intolerance remark on a news show.
SRK had said on his 50th birthday that there is extreme intolerance in India. “Religious intolerance and not being secular... is the worst kind of crime that you can do as a patriot,” he had said. The statement had come days after another Bollywood star Aamir Khan's intolerance remark which invited him extreme criticism.
Talking on ABP News, SRK said that he apologises for his statement if it hurts someone's sentiments. The Chak De! India star said that he hasn't faced any intolerance in the country and has never spoken about it.
He added that there are people who will think that this statement comes amid the countdown to the release of his film Dilwale that releases on December 18, but that was not the case.
