Awqaf Begins Preparing For Ramadan
In preparation for the holy month of Ramadan, the Ministry of Awqaf has begun early preparations to receive thousands of worshippers at places of worship for Taraweh prayers.
According to the report, the Ministry of Awqaf has intensified its efforts to create an atmosphere of faith and provide all means of comfort and safety for worshippers in more than 1,590 mosques in the country. Abdulaziz Al-Majed, the Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf, stressed the importance of concerted efforts in a meeting last week. He urged mosque directors in the six governorates to put worshippers' safety and comfort first.
During the holy month, worshippers will not be allowed to pray in mosques if maintenance work has not been completed, in the interest of their safety.
Also discussed were comfort and safety for worshippers, preventing beggars, controlling donations during Ramadan, and providing volunteers, ambulances, and medical assistance during Ramadan.
