Artificial Intelligence To Revolutionize Kuwaiti Education

Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has issued a decision mandating the establishment of a committee dedicated to incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) technology into the computer curriculum.

This committee, chaired by Dr. Abdullah Al-Mutawa, a faculty member in the Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering and Petroleum, Kuwait University, includes the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Education and the Assistant Undersecretary as members.

For the educational research and curricula sector and the general computer supervisor, the committee’s responsibilities include determining the grades in which artificial intelligence technology will be integrated into the computer curriculum and preparing scientific materials for teaching artificial intelligence technology at each grade level.
