Appointed Spc Members Request Not To Renew Term Of Office

The members who were appointed to the Supreme Petroleum Council (SPC) are said to have requested the council not to renew their term of office when it expires next January.

The Al-Rai daily quoting informed sources said some members have submitted a written request while others have informed the head of the SPC verbally, including Abdulhadi Al-Awwad, Mustafa Al-Shamali, Essam Al-Marzouq, Abdul-Mohsen Al-Hanaif, Hind Al-Sabeeh, and Essam Al-Bahr.

It is noteworthy to mention that the SPC is chaired by the Prime Minister and the members are from a number of concerned ministers, in addition to the qualified and experienced appointed members .
