Al-qabas Publishes Details Of The Arrest Of A Syrian Expatriate Who Obtained Kuwaiti Nationality Through Fraud

Last week, the General Administration of Nationality and Passports managed to drop a Syrian resident who bought Kuwaiti nationality in 1986, in exchange for a huge sum of money, and was referred to the investigation office, documenting his confessions, and referring him to the Public Prosecution. 

The details stated that, based on instructions issued by the Assistant Undersecretary for Nationality and Passports Affairs, Lieutenant General Faisal Al-Nawwaf, to intensify efforts and to control all those involved in forging or buying Kuwaiti nationality or obtaining it illegally, confidential information was received by the Department of Nationality and Passports Investigation, on the authority of a Syrian resident He obtained Kuwaiti nationality through fraud, and accordingly they carried out the necessary investigations and collected sufficient information, and after making sure of its correctness and safety, they ambushed the accused, who felt in danger during the recent period and was forced to travel to the sisterly State of Qatar and stay there for about 3 months as a form of camouflage and deception, and upon his return it was done Arrest him and refer him for investigation. 

In the preliminary investigations, the accused admitted that he had bought Kuwaiti nationality through fraud, in order to enjoy its benefits.
