Kuwait Municipality has issued a stern warning regarding electoral advertising regulations, emphasizing that any breach, such as the placement of unlicensed electoral advertisements or the utilization of private residential properties for electoral campaigning, will result in hefty penalties of up to 5,000 dinars, reports Al-Jarida daily. In a recent statement, the municipality underscored its commitment to enforcement, declaring that its field teams will be actively monitoring election headquarters and advertisements across the region.

Collaborating closely with the Public Authority for Civil Information, these teams will gather pertinent data on violators to ensure strict adherence to electoral advertising guidelines. Furthermore, the municipality will utilize the government's “Sahl” application to issue warnings directly to offenders, thereby emphasizing the importance of compliance with electoral advertising regulations.
