A Woman Was Arrested For Tying A Kuwaiti Flag To An Animal
In Kuwait, the Interior Ministry warns that insulting the national flag or the flag of a friendly country can lead to legal penalties, local media reported.
If you insult the national flag or the flag of a friendly nation, either by destroying it or degrading it, you could face prison time or a fine of up to KD250 (Dh3,000) or both.
During Kuwait's celebration of national holidays, a woman had tied the Kuwait flag around an animal, which was considered an insult to the Kuwait flag. The Kuwait Interior Ministry stated actions are being taken against the woman for this offense.
According to a statement from the Ministry, some parents allowed their children to spray water and throw water balloons during National Day celebrations, in spite of warnings. This led to quarrels on the holiday.
Parents are urged to educate their children about the dangers of celebrating from a negative perspective, which results in fights, according to Major General Faraj Al Zoubi. It is not patriotic to spray water, destroy public property, or attack others.
