A Total Of 750 Kuwaiti And Expats Prisoners To Be Released

A total of 750 prisoners – Kuwaitis and expatriates – shall be released as part of the Amiri Pardon this year, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting sources close to the issue.

The source added 500 prisoners who shall be released immediately and others who were imprisoned for failing to pay their debts will be released within two weeks but before the National and Liberation Days holidays.

According to the same source, their debts will be paid by the government. The source pointed out, 2,800 prisoners were released last year upon the Amiri Pardon
