80 Citations Were Issued And 177 Cubic Meters Of Various Items Were Confiscated In Capital & Farwaniya Campaigns
Kuwait Municipality launched inspection campaigns in Capital and Farwaniya markets during which 80 citations were issued and 177 cubic meters of various items were confiscated, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
In a press release, Acting Director of Public Hygiene and Road Usage Department in Capital Municipality Jamal Al Fadhli said all centers in all governorates carry out such inspections on a regular basis in order to remove all violations in the Capital Governorate and ensure the laws and regulations are followed.
He explained that the campaigns held in the governorate resulted in the issuance of 30 citations against hygiene-related violations and 15 citations against violations related to the use of roads. Also, 30 garbage containers were replaced, 230 cubic meters of waste materials were lifted and a number of roads in the governorate were cleaned.
Director of Public Hygiene and Road Usage Department in Farwaniya Governorate Saad Al Khurainij said the tours launched in various markets, commercial malls and cafés in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Hassawi, Farwaniya and Khaitan areas resulted in the issuance of 35 citations, adding that 137 cubic meters of vegetables, fruits and used furniture were confiscated. He stressed that the hygiene-related campaigns launched by shift “G” in various markets resulted in the confiscation of 380 cubic meters of fruits and other food items as well as used furniture.
