575 Expats Arrested In Massive Security Campaign

A massive security campaign conducted by the Residency Investigations General Department in the Ministry of Interior resulted in 575 arrests for violations of the Residency and Labor laws.

The ministry's Public Relations and Security Media Department released a press release confirming that the day and night operations conducted by the search and investigation sections, monitoring and coordination sections, violations follow-up sections, and administrative and financial services sections in Hawally, Salmiya, Mubarakiya, Mahboula, Farwaniya, Fahaheel, Sharq and Shuwaikh resulted in the arrest of the above-mentioned individuals.

The ministry's Deportation General Department is expediting the deportation of those arrested, according to security sources. It is expected that the campaigns to arrest those who violated the residency and labor laws, as well as those who engaged in immoral acts, will continue during the holiday season.
