5 Arrested For Not Paying Debts Worth Kd 135,000
A Bedoun man, who was wanted by law for non-payment of debt worth KD 32,000, was arrested in Saad Al-Abdullah area during a security campaign.
In addition, Jahra securitymen also arrested a Syrian expatriate who is wanted for payment of KD 12,000 debt, a Kuwaiti wanted for a debt worth KD 54,000 and a Pakistani expatriate wanted for a debt of KD 11,000. All arrested individuals were referred to the Department of Sentences Enforcement for necessary legal action.
Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen who is wanted by law for a debt worth KD 26,000 was arrested in possession of a knife, a liquor bottle and a plastic gun, reports Al- Anba daily. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen headed by Commander of Farwaniya Police Station Major Khalid Al-Ajmi and Lieutenant Fahad Al-Mutairi had launched a security campaign on Naji Al-Watari Street. They discovered that the driver of one of the vehicles did not have his civil ID. They checked his details and discovered he is a Kuwaiti citizen who is wanted by law for non-payment of a debt worth KD 26,000.
They checked his vehicle and found a knife, a liquor bottle and a plastic gun. They suspected that he could be involved in knifepoint robbery and impersonation of police. He was arrested and referred with the confiscated items to the concerned authorities for investigations.
