3493 Commercial Licenses Issued In Kuwait During First Quarter Of 2017

The number of companies established in Kuwait during the first quarter of 2017 increased by 22 percent compared to the same period in 2016. This was reported by local Arabic media citing the statistics issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

According to the report, Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued 3493 commercial licenses covering all types of commercial activities for partnership, individual and limited stakeholder companies during the first three months of 2017.

2003 licenses issued for limited liability partnership companies, which represent 29.8 increase compared to the first quarter of the same period last year. This is followed by joint holding and limited partnership companies in the second and third places respectively.
