3 People Attacked Police

The Ahmadi Interrogation Department has sent three people to the Central Prison for assaulting police in Sabahiya last Thursday, reports Al-Jarida daily. The trio reportedly intervened, attacked police and helped a reckless motorist to escape the law, an incident which was denounced by the security authorities following which the Interior Minister met with the undersecretaries and demanded application of the law on all without discrimination and without exception.

Arsonist arrested: Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested a Kuwaiti in the case of arson, reports Al-Anba daily. The suspect who is believed to be in his 50s is said to have set fire to the cooperative society in the suburb of Sabah Al-Ahmad. The arsonist was arrested on the strength of the CCTV footage of a camera which is installed at the cooperative society. He was arrested in Mangaf. The arsonist has admitted to the charge, but refused justify his action.
