215 Arrested In A Week, 27,457 Traffic Violations Issued

Between Sept 16 and 23, security operations involving traffic and rescue personnel resulted in 215 arrests and 27,457 traffic violations, according to Al-Rai.

13 juveniles arrested during the same period have been referred to the Juvenile Prosecution.

92 wanted vehicles were seized, 45 individuals were detained, and 24,054 traffic violations were documented, according to the latest weekly statistics released by the General Traffic Department.

In addition, 114 vehicles were impounded, and 22 motorcycles were taken to the Ministry of Interior garage.

Of significant note, three individuals were referred to the General Administration for Drug Control, and 18 were identified as residence violators. Furthermore, nine individuals were found without valid proof, and 26 wanted persons linked to a variety of cases were arrested.
