21 Expats Were Arrested In Kuwait On Drug And Liquor Charges
Every day, the public security sector conducts security inspections and patrols across various regions as part of its ongoing commitment to public safety and security. These efforts are aimed at preserving the safety of the community and apprehending individuals engaged in criminal activities. Over the past 15 months, the governorate's security departments have detained 21 expats of various nationalities.
Two of these individuals were found in possession of prohibited medical materials, as well as a significant amount of imported alcohol, narcotic drugs, and psychotropic substances. Many of the accused had arrest warrants against them, and some were already in prison. In addition, 6 expats of Asian nationality were taken into custody on charges of distilling liquor in Mangaf area. Law enforcement authorities discovered 25 barrels containing alcohol and distillation equipment. These individuals have been handed over to the appropriate authorities for legal action to be taken against them.
