10,000 Students Will Be Employed In Coops During The Summer
During the start of Kuwaitization of supervisory positions in cooperative societies, Abdel Wahhab Al-Fares, president of the Union of Cooperative Societies, presented a proposal to the Ministry of Social Affairs to employ secondary school students (grades ten and eleven) during the summer, specifically in cooperative societies.
A spokesperson for Al-Faris stated that the project, which is designed to give students self-confidence, work experience, and contact with groups of society, will benefit about ten thousand students and is limited to shareholders, their children, and their grandchildren living in their respective areas, according to Al-Jarida daily.
Each student will receive between 100 and 200 dinars, according to the discretion of each coop, and will be paid after consulting with the administrative controller for four hours of work provided that they adhere to the fingerprint attendance system.
A lottery will be conducted under the supervision of the association's administrative controller and in the presence of the association's board members if there are more applicants than the association can accommodate.
The applicants will also be divided into two working groups - one in July and one in August.
