Ministry Of Finance Launched Online System For Issuance Of Tax
The Ministry of Finance has launched the online system for issuance of tax certificates, reports Al- Seyassah daily. This will allow the concerned individuals and institutions to obtain tax certificates through the website of the ministry where they can check the accuracy of their data in order to prevent rejection, deletion of application or being subjected to legal liability in line with Income Tax Decree number 3/1995 amended as law number 2/2008.
The authorities should consider the e-certificate an official document issued by the ministry in refunding the income tax deposit to companies, institutions and individuals whose contracts with them have ended.
This is part of the ministry’s commitment to improve its services continuously in a bid to better serve the finance and labor sectors, companies and individuals in line with the Cabinet’s resolutions to facilitate procedures for citizens.
The Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) recently issued an administrative circular to regulate the activities of charities and non-government organizations (NGOs), reports Al- Anba daily quoting sources from the ministry.
The circular stressed the need for charities and NGOs to obtain approval from the concerned authority in the ministry before engaging in any activity.
Sources also confirmed relocation of the Charities and NGOs Department to Al-Massayel; indicating that work is underway to furnish the offices and the transfer will most likely take place next week.
