Hattin Diorama - Tareq Rajab Museum

Introducing our new Battle of Hattin diorama! The Battle of Hattin is one of the most important battles in the history of the Crusades. Saladin’s victory allowed him to recapture large swathes of land across the Holy Land, including Jerusalem, which would ultimately trigger the Third Crusade.

Construction of the diorama started 14 months ago and has involved 1000s of hours of work in order to accurately replicate the Horns of Hattin and to hand paint the 3500 miniatures on the board.
