A spokesman for Emirates Airlines said that the national carrier has strongly denied reports that one of its planes had been targeted for bombing on Monday.
Lebanese Interior Minister Nuhad al-Mashnouk revealed the involvement of four Lebanese in an attempt to blow up an American passenger plane on its way from Australia to Abu Dhabi.
Mashnouk said in a press conference on Monday that the thwarted attack was coordinated by the Information Division of the Department of Homeland Security and Australian authorities.
